House Mouse Kissin' Fish

I had so much fun with this one.  I don't remember the name of the stamp, sorry.  One of my house mouse list members sent me this image, and I love it.  I have the best members in the who world ;).  Someday I will own this stamp;)  but I had to color it and when I finished I thought how am I going to layer this ...so I used the purplish pink card stock and sparkly  blue glitter stock (you know me, somewhere there has to be glitter,  and I glittered up the water lily's and used a lattice die  cut  that I found in a sale bin someplace and then I was stumped  so I sat on the floor and thought and remembered that Mark and I had bought some avocados and they came in a green net.  Now if there is fish there has to be net somewhere right?  So that was my thinking anyway.  Then I needed flowers but I didn't have any the same color as the lilly and so I found in a corner some old white artificial flowers off  a decoration.  I cut them smaller and tried to put pointed edges like the lilly and colored them with  Copics R22 (light prawn) and R85 (rose red) and blended them with my blender pen.  Anyway I added the green stones and highlighted the card with blue chalk pad that one of my members sent me (Thank you Carlota)   Boy I am rambling aren't I.  Sorry, I guess I am talking to you since I don't have anyone else to talk to :)  Hugs, Cathy

Sweet Smellin' # HMFMC145

I think I got stuck on green and yellow today.  I had this oval image and I think I use this layout a bit too much but it is so "usable"  LOL.  I high lighted or shaded the back of the oval but it sure doesn't show on here.     I guess I better try some different colors on the next card huh?  Maybe I should have Mark hide the green and yellow paper LOL I found thes yellow flowers in a corner of a suitcase and they were way to pale so I copic colored them. It is hard to tell on here butI had fun anyway.   I have gotten to spend more time making cards today then in a long time.  Thank you again House Mouse girls for helping me out so much .  You are the awesomest and I love having you as part of  my house mouse group.  Come to think of it, it wouldn't be much of a group without you all.
Hugs, Cathy

Sunflower Smooch # HMFMC145

Did you ever get stuck on an image and just have to use it and then found the paper that you hadn't seen in years.  Well,  I love this image and I thought I had the background paper before but couldn't remember for sure.  I love dots on paper so i decided to use this again. I think I could wear this stamp out.  It is one of my all time  House Mouse Favorites.   Hugs, Cathy (sistermouse)

H.M. Smoochin'# HMFMC145

I have a member who has been with me for many years and gave me this stamp.  She knew I loved sunflowers :)  She is very ill now and bedridden.  I love this woman. She has a heart of gold and of God.  I miss her so much.  So I called her a while back, had been trying to get ahold of her but they said I had the wrong number. Finally..... and got to talk to her.  Made my day.  So I had to let her know how much we all loved and miss her.  Hugs, Cathy

KISS (Keep It Simple Sweetie) Swap

I don't know about the other girls, Maybe they will send me a picture of their Keep It Simple Sweetie cards but I had a horrible time not adding more and more and more.  I had more embellishments but since I was heading up the swap I sort of had to behave :)  so here is my KISS card. Hugs, Cathy

KISS (Keep It Simple Sweetie)

This is a card made by Karen for the Keep It Simple Sweetie (KISS) Swap.  I love how she was able to make such a cute card and a simple one.

A Rainy Day

I love this image as long as I don't have to be out in it.  That is why I love Arizona LOL  I wanted to add a lot more embellishments and tried but it just didn't look right.

This Card is sort of Corny

Sorry I couldn't pass up saying it LOL.  The colors are better than this shows, brighter, but oh well.  I made this on the road when I didn't and still don't have my machine with me.  But it is coming soon (I hope) hugs, Cathy

We Had A Christmas Ornament Swap :)

This ornament was made by I believe Chrisann.  It is an amazing piece of art.  Who can compete with that. Well I guess we will find out this year ;)  Hope you enjoy looking at our cards. More to come for sure.  Hugs, Cathy (Sistermouse)

I Know It's Not Christmas but ......

I know it's not Christmas but it is sure coming fast so I thought I would show you a couple cards from last Christmas, this is by Karen Adams,  cute :)

Valentines Card

Oops  I forgot to crop this one.  This is a valentines card, (I bet you couldn't guess LOL) I went crazy on hearts.  I love glitter and fund this package of different size hearts in a bin at Ben Franklin's in Winterset Iowa, We were there for a while on our trips speaking.  That is one cold place in the winter for sure. Glad to be back in  Arizona ;)

Make It Green Swap

Karen Adams made this for the Make it green Swap. We had to use 2 or more shades of green.  It was not for St. Patrick's day just for fun and they could use any image. Thank you Karen for sharing it.

Card for UnBirthday Swap

I made this card for the UnBirthday Swap,  I think I got a bit carried away.  I travel most of the time so I have limited supplies but some of the girls have been so good to me and kept me supplied.  I just reached into my suitcase, (where I hide my stamping supplies, after all aren't they more important than clothes LOL) and this is what I came up with.  Hugs, Cathy (sistermouse)

Mary Anne made this for our UnBirthday Swap (I think) :)

Mary Anne is one of our co-moderators,  She is very talented and I love how she made the rain drops gold and the bubbles.  Thank you for sharing this Mary Anne

Cards Some Of Our Members Maid

This Card was made by Chrisann, isn't it adorable.  I love it.  Thank you for sharing it with us Chrisann.  hugs, Cathy

Card for a member of my House Mouse Group

Most of my stamping stuff is packed when I made this card so I had to use what was left on my desk.  As of now all my stamping supplies are packed as we are on the move again. Hugs, Cathy

Fun Card for one of my House Mouse Members

The Top is the front of the card and then the little yellow square on the front of the card unfolds to show multiple mice and a greeting.  This was a fun card to make.  hugs, Cathy

Valentine Exchange

We had a valentine exchange on our House Mouse list and the idea was to make Valentines like we used to get in grade school. The girls did an awesome job.  The top left was made by Yonnie, top center by Kat and the top right was made by Terry,  I had to mail mine individually because of the time frame, mine is below.  It was so much fun to see what we all would come up with

Card from a House Mouse List Member (Terry)

This card is awesome. It makes me miss my cuttlebug that is in storage in Arizona.  The coloring and shading on this card is magnificent. This girl is an artist and does wonderful art work. Love the card. Thank you Terry ~ hugs, Cathy K

House Mouse Time To Stamp

I found this image and just had to use it.  It was a fun card to make with a red metallic cup cake wrapper and the time hands make out of cardboard .  I may have to use this next New Years if we are not on the road traveling :)

Birthday Card

As you can see, the cards are pretty basic because I do not have many supplies with me as we are still traveling but every once in a while I get to stamp  :)

Inside Celebrate Card

I had this paper and this seemed like the right cardto use it on LOL hugs, Cathy

House Mouse Card :)

It has been a while since I have posted to this blog even though I have made house mouse cards.  I guess I just got sidetracked. Anyway this isn't the best picture and the cake slid when I took the picture LOL it is supposed to be up and centered LOL. Oh well the mousies won't mind. It will make it easier for them to reach LOL Hugs, Cathy (sistermouse)

Very Simple Inside.

This is a very simple inside that is deep brown and white dots. The Happy birthday is on lightly patterned paper.   Hugs, Cathy
